Documents Required

The following documents (photocopies) are required as part of their admission process.

  1. HSLC Marksheet
  2. HSLC Admit Card
  3. HSSLC Marksheet
  4. HSSLC Admit Card
  5. Recent Passport Photo
  6. Testimonial/ Conduct Certificate from your last institution attended.
  7. Disability Certificate, if applicable.

Instructions for taking photographs (for online form submission)

Your Photo

  1. Do not take selfie as people tend to look at the screen rather than the lens, but let someone else take your photo and you should be looking at the lens when this is done.
  2. If you are a BA 3/ BA 5 applicant, take your photo in your College uniform. For BA 1 applicants, do not wear your school uniform for the photo.
  3. Choose a well-illuminated setting for your photo, without dark shadows. Choose a plain backround.This photo will be used in your ID card.
  4. The picture should be in jpg format.
  5. If your photo does not meet our specifications, you will be asked to resubmit another photo.

Your Documents (for online form submission)

  1. Do not use your camera app directly but use a document scanning app to take pictures of your documents.
  2. For uploading your document, the size is limited to 1 MB per picture/file so check the file size before uploading. The file should be in pdf format.
  3. Make sure that the image is well-focussed everywhere.
  4. Do not rotate your camera while taking the photo as your document will be viewed in a computer. If your document comes rotated, you will be asked to resubmit.

Form Uploads

  1. Once you have successfully uploaded your application form, you will receive a copy in your email. Check this to ensure that you have supplied your data correctly.
  2. You can edit/correct your submitted data for a limited time by yourself.
  3. We are compiling a digital archive for documents so for BA 3 / BA 5 students, kindly upload all documents asked.

Eligibility for Honours Subjects

  1. You should have a minimum score of 45% in the subject concerned at the Class 12 level.
  2. If you are opting for Honours in a subject not offered at the Class 12 level, you should have scored a minimum of 45% in the aggregate.
  3. Students from other streams opting for Honours in the Arts stream should have obtained at least 45% in the qualifying exam.

Note:

Kindly follow the procedure below for communicating information to the office
1. Every file that you send by email is equivalent to a paper file. A new file is opened.
2. Any subsequent communication/clarification on the same topic should be sent as a reply to the same email rather than starting a fresh mail. This is because it is inconvenient to search different emails from the same person for the same topic. All correspondences on the same topic should be in the same email thread.
3. Documents in pdf format are preferred. Kindly take care of formatting
4. Give a proper description for the correspondence in the Subject field of the email.
