Principal’s Desk

Dr. Imtiwati Jamir, the first official principal of Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung, completed his education at Saint Anthony’s College and North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. He entered Government Service as Lecturer in Physics at Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung in 1986, and served as Head of Department of Physics from 2002 until his retirement in 2021. In his career, he has served as guest faculty in multiple institutions like Institute of Communication and Information Technology, Mokokchung, and Nagaland University.

Dr. Imtiwati Jamir has served as a member of Academic Council of Nagaland University from 2012 to 2018. Currently, he is also a member of various other educational councils and boards:

  1. Board of Undergraduate Studies (Physics) of Nagaland University
  2. Board of Undergraduate Studies (Physics) of Kohima
  3. PANE (Physics Academy of North East)

He completed his doctoral thesis on the Study of Heavy Ion Collisions Using Different Theoretical Methods from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong and has published a variety of papers in the field of Physics. Dr. Imtiwati Jamir exemplifies positive leadership for the college staff and students, and brings innovative implementations from his broad range of experience. He continues to serve as a mentor for everyone around him.

Vice Principal’s Desk

Ms. Akumyala is the first official vice principal of Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung. She completed her studies in Patkai Christian College, Dimapur, Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and Nagaland University.

With her area of expertise in English, she has served as a teacher in Alderville School, Jotsoma, Kohima and Jubilee Memorial School, Mokokchung before her entry into the College as acting principal (2015 to 2021) and as vice principal (2021 onwards).

Ms. Akumyala shows an immense love and appreciation for Literature that translates in her dedicated lectures and gentle guidance for the students and peers alike.
