Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), Mokokchung, celebrated its 11th
Foundation Day Commemoration on June 15, 2026, at the College Campus with faculty
members, students, alumni, and well-wishers in attendance.
The programme was hosted by Ms. Otienla I. Kichu (BA 5) and commenced with the College
Song as a prelude. The gathering was led in prayer and devotion by Mr. Yimnayangner Aier,
Counsellor, JMC, who delivered the Word of God and Invocation.
A special musical presentation was rendered by Ms. Sentijungla Imchen (BA 1). Foundation Day
greetings were delivered by Mr. Mulato Keny, Co-ordinator, IQAC, JMC, and Mr. Medemren
Longchar, JMC Alumnus, who reflected on the institution’s journey and encouraged the college
community to continue striving for academic excellence and holistic development.
One of the highlights of the occasion was the official release of “Sapentia 2026,” the college
magazine, showcasing the literary, academic, and creative contributions of students and faculty
members.
The programme also featured a Dedicatory Prayer for the College led by Rev. Dr. Ponen
Longchar, Senior Pastor, MTBA, who offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, wisdom,
and blessings upon the institution.
The commemoration concluded successfully, marking another significant milestone in the
history of Jubilee Memorial College as it celebrated eleven years of commitment to quality
education and service to society.
