The Department of Sociology, Jubilee Memorial College, successfully organised Colloquia Series II on 23rd March 2026 at the JMC Hall on the topic, “Tales from Genes, Words and Artifacts: An Odyssey of Our Ancestors.”
Dr. Tiasunep Amri, Assistant Professor, Department of Anthropology, Nagaland University was the resource person where he deliberated on the lingual patterns and genetic history of the Naga people.
The programme was moderated by Ms. Limasenla (6th Semester), while an overview of the Colloquia Series II was presented by Mr. Tzuditen Longkumer (4th Semester).
The session concluded with an interactive discussion, witnessing active participation from both students and faculty members, making the event a meaningful and enriching academic experience.
