Introductory Talk on ‘Canaan Farmer Spirit’ held at Jubilee Memorial CollegeAn introductory talk on “Canaan Farmer Spirit” was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Jubilee Memorial College, Mokokchung on March 16, 2026 at the JMC Hall. The program was conducted for the faculty members of the college.The resource person for the session was Dr. Chubatola Aier, Principal of C-Edge College, Dimapur. During the session, Dr. Aier introduced the concept of the Canaan Farmer Spirit and explained its significance in cultivating values such as perseverance, discipline, responsibility and a strong work ethic.Dr. Aier also highlighted that C-Edge College, Nagaland offers the “Canaan Farmer Spirit” as a Value Added Course (VAC), aimed at instilling character formation, dedication, and ethical values among students. The course focuses on nurturing qualities such as patience, diligence and faith in the process of growth drawing inspiration from the life and spirit of a farmer.The session was moderated by Dr. Kilangnaro Imchen, Assistant Professor, Department of Environmental Science, Jubilee Memorial College.The program provided meaningful insights into the importance of integrating value-based education within higher learning institutions.
