The Department of Sociology organized its first Colloquia Series on 22nd August 2025 at JMC Hall on the theme “The Inner Revolution: Personal Growth and Resilience.” Resource person Miss Moamenla Longkumer, District Mission Coordinator, DHEW Mission Shakti, emphasized the importance of resilience and personal growth to develop Inner Revolution.
The session was moderated by Miss Imnatula of BA 3rd Semester, and the welcome address was given by Miss Sentienla Longkumer of BA 5th Semester. The Rapporteur of the 1st Episode was Mr. Changchuba of BA 3rd Semester. Miss Temjentola of BA 3rd Semester presented a melodious song at the session.
The session ended with DHEW Mokokchung distributing health kits to female students and staff under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, while male students and staff received stationery item.
